We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in the fields of marketing, events or the arts, for the planning and implementation of an advertising campaign related to the EEBL Day planned for spring 2018. Event planning, an integral part of our marketing strategy, includes our annual EEBL Day, the biggest event dedicated to EEBL students and applicants. The positions are unpaid but they provide an opportunity to gain experience and to earn 6 CFU, valid as extra activity. You will be involved in group work activities and you will be directly supervised by Mrs. Federica Corrente. Your daily activities will include assisting operations leading up to EEBL Day, and you will participate in the organisation of the event from the beginning to the end.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing support for the staff in event planning and organizing
- Assistance developing and carrying out marketing strategies for the event
- Ensuring that colleagues are as fully involved
- Communication with related parties internally and externally to ensure a smooth running of the events
- Publication of the events with appropriate audiences to achieve the required attendance level
- Assistance with mailings, filing and various administrative activities for programme events
- Set up of the ground event, event management and event clean up
- Providing support for event logistics, timelines and schedules
- Assistance with ad hoc duties assigned
Essential Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Intermediate level IT skills using Microsoft Office
- Strong ability to multi-task and respect to deadlines
- Motivated and able to work in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adequate written and verbal communication (in English and in Italian).
