The Gabriele Berionne Foundation has published a competition notice to award the best master thesis on economic, financial, corporate, legal and sociological themes related to environmental sustainability, the role of micro-finance projects to combat poverty, and the measurement of well-being.

The competition notice provides for the allocation of 3 prizes of €3,000 each. Participation in the competition is reserved for graduates who complete their master degree between 1 January 2017 and 31 July 2018 with a final grade of at least 105/110 at one the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

To apply, candidates should prepare a formal, written and signed request to participate to send by mail or by courier no later than 1 August 2018 to the following anddress:

In the application the candidate must indicate:

(i) personal data (name, surname, date and place of birth, domicile, telephone numbers, mail);
(ii) the title of the submitted work, which the candidate certifies is unpublished;
(iii) a declaration of acceptance of the conditions set out in this notice of competition;
(iv) authorization to process personal data transmitted (pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 1966 of 30 June 2003), including through the use of computerized instruments, for the exclusive scope of processing the information for the purposes of the award selection;
(v) willingness to personally collect the prize, if awarded, during the ceremony to be held in spring 2018 in Rome.

Attached to the request to participate in the award selection, the candidate must send:

(I) a paper copy in Italian or English of the work, signed by the author;
(Ii) a paper copy in Italian or in English of a brief summary of the work;
(Iii) electronic copy of work and synthesis (cd-rom, pen-drive);
(Iv) self-certification, pursuant to D.P.R. 445/2000, certifying the candidate's citizenship and that the candidate has obtained the degree with a final grade of 110/110;
(V) photocopy of a document of identification.

The submitted documentation will not be returned.

Obligations of the winner inclue the following: within 15 days from the date of receipt of the selection notice, the winner must send notice of his or her acceptance of the prize and confirm his / her presence at the award ceremony, by e-mail to Secretariat @ pec. Patalanoconsulenti.it or by registered letter to Patalano & Associati Consulenti d'impresa Srl In Via San Martino della Battaglia 25, 00185 Rome. Failure to communicate within the deadline or the absence of the winner at the delivery ceremony will result in the loss of the prize.
