Since 10th April 2015, Professor Claudio De Vincenti has been Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers acting as a Secretary of the Council of Ministers. Before that, he was appointed Secretary for Economic Development on 28th February 2014 and Deputy Minister on 25th June 2014.
From November 2011 to February 2014 he held the position of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economic Development.
His professional career has developed along various lines which include - in addition to intensive research and teaching as Full Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Law, University of Rome "La Sapienza" - regulatory activities in the public utility services, Economic Advisor to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Health, as well as participation in organizations and national and international consultation bodies.
He is the author of several books and numerous scientific publications in national and international journals. He has participated as a speaker in national and international conferences, seminars and workshops.
