is professor of Economics at LUISS G. Carli University and Head of the Department “European Integration and International Affairs” at the Italian School of Administration (SNA). He has been visiting scholar at the Departments of Economics of Exeter University, Columbia University, New York University, Stanford University and Sciences Po (Paris); he also visited Nuffield College (Oxford University). He has been Vice-dean of the Political Science Department of LUISS University and Director of the Economics Department at the University of Molise. He published articles in international journals on international trade, open economy macroeconomics, public economics, macroeconomic dynamics and economic growth. He served as referee for many international journals.
