Paolo Messa

Leonardo - Italian Institutional Affairs

Paolo Messa is currently entrusted with responsibility for the organisational unit "Institutional Relations Italy" of Leonardo S.p.A.

Beforehand he has been the Director of the Center for American Studies, an Institute based in Rome and supervised by Italy’s MFA and by the US State Department – Mission to Italy.

Dr Messa is a member of the Strategic Committee at Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He has founded and still publishes the editorial project “Formiche” which includes the magazines Formiche and Airpress – specialized in the aerospace and defence sector – and the press agency Cyber Affairs.

Dr Messa is Adjunct Professor at the Business School of LUISS University in Rome. He lectures “Intelligence and Media” at many of Italy’s Universities.

He is a well-known expert on international relations as well as on political communication.

Dr Messa has been RAI (Italian public tv and radio broadcaster) member of the board and he has been Communication Adviser of Italy’s Vice PM as well as of Italy’s Minister to Environment.
