The Marketing Award is an initiative of SIM (Italian Marketing Society), which collects and develops a business case ("Case"), illustrating a problem with a product or a company already on the market or who wish to enter new markets, local and / or global. Students participating to the award are asked to develop their own solution to the case through a marketing plan. Each of the components of the first place team will have the opportunity to take a free Master of Marketing and/or Communication among those accredited by the SIM.

In particular, students of the 2015 business case “PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) - A value to be spread” have been called on to assume the role of a team of young advisers of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (MIPAAF), in order to identify a number of marketing initiatives to translate the certified quality products DO (in the food sector) in a quality perceived and valued by the market (either intermediate or final).

We are proud to announce that, amongst the 70 universities and the 450 teams that participated to the 2015 Marketing Award, the winning team is from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Master of Science in Business Administration, specialization in Marketing & Sales. A great congrats then goes to  the winning team, namely Maria Rosaria Fiorentino, Enrica Mussini, and Alessandro Loja!

Last but not least, congratulation to Professor Sara Poggesi, coordinator of the Specialization in Marketing & Sales, MSc in BA and to Professor Michela Mingione, the reference tutor of our University.
