Professor Andrea Appolloni at Haslam College of Business

Prof Andrea Appolloni is teaching Procurement and Supply Chain Management at University of Tor Vergata is currently a visiting faculty member at University of Tennessee in USA, Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management, Haslam College of Business. His research activities are specializing in the field of Sustainable Supply Chain Management and Strategic Global Sourcing in collaboration with international experts. His research area is highly connected to the course in Procurement Sourcing and Supply Chain Strategies which is one of the taught subjects in BA program at University of Tor Vergata Rome.
At University of Tennessee he is involved in many research and teaching activities. He regularly participates in the seminars and conferences organized by the Department.
For many years, University of Tennessee’s Supply Chain Management program has enjoyed an excellent reputation as one of the premier programs in the country.The Supply Chain faculty are ranked #1 in research productivity in USA.

In 2014 Prof. Appolloni has successfully contributed to the realization of the agreement of international cooperation between the University of Tor Vergata and the University of Tennessee.

Prof. Andrea Appolloni is visiting faculty member with University of Tennessee since  September 2013, the first time for collaborating with the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department as he was involved in a research project concerned with lean Management and the applications in Supply Chain Management using an engineer approach.
