Future and emerging technologies

This course will bring students into the future by preparing them for tomorrow’s challenges and teaching them to understand future scenarios and trends that will define the environment in which they will work.

About the course

Master of Science in Business Administration and Business Administration & Economics, in collaboration with Impactscool, present a cycle of seminars about new and emerging technologies.

This course will bring students into the future by preparing them for tomorrow’s challenges and teaching them to understand future scenarios and trends that will define the environment in which they will work.

It will deepen the theme of exponential technologies, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, robotics, 3D printing, biotechnology and much more, underlying the impact that they will have on our society.

Through innovative teaching formats, based on debate and comparison, we will help students develop the soft skills needed in the world of work of the future: ability to work in groups, critical spirit, public speaking attitude, creativity and decision-making ability.

The course will be held by Andrea Geremicca, CMO and Co-Founder of Impactscool.

About Impactscool

Impactscool's goals are to:
  • educate hundreds of students about new technologies and on the impact and the ethical and social implications they have on our society
  • encourage cooperation for the resolution of thousands of local and global challenges
  • train and encourage all actors of the system (students, companies and institutions) to become conscious protagonists in addressing change in the right direction
"Knowing the potentials of technologies as robotics, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, nanotechnology and blockchain, and learning how to use them could be an extraordinary source in driving the change, instead of suffering it or trying to resist.

We believe that the future is open source and that it can and should be built by everyone, together. This is why it is essential to help people imagine possible futures, through format and techniques of foresight."
