Applied Digital Marketing (3 CFU) - 2° module

This seminar aims to give an overview of what Digital Marketing is and how it helps a company to achieve its business goals.

Description

This seminar aims to give an overview of what Digital Marketing is and how it helps a company to achieve its business goals. The participants will understand how to develop a Digital Marketing strategy and a marketing funnel. They will learn what are the principal sources of traffic, how to target a segment of people and the mechanisms of lead generation and traffic conversion. At the end of the course, they will also be able to use the most important digital marketing tools such as the keyword planner, Facebook advertising platform and online tools to manage database of contacts, prospects and clients.

Participants are asked to bring their own laptop.

Presenter - Giorgio Gioacchini

Graduated in Business Administration and founder of Studioplace, Giorgio Gioacchini is in charge of managing digital projects for companies of different sizes and in different industries.
He has been hosted as keynote speaker at workshops in several university, such as University of Roma Tre, John Cabot University, La Sapienza University and Luiss Business School.
In 2015 he has founded Digital Yuppies, currently the leading community of professionals, innovators and entrepreneurs in the digital and creative space.

Exam and frequency

In order to obtain the 3 CFU credits for the extra activities, students are required to elaborate an individual project work.

Only students attending at least 80% of the scheduled lessons will be allowed to make the final presentation in order to obtain the 3 CFUs valid for the Extra-Activities.

Registration

Students interested in participating to the seminar are required to complete the form.

The deadline for registration is April 5th 2019.

Important: priority will be given to second year students, in particular those belonging to Marketing and Sales specialisation.
