Regolamento esame

Exam rules (A.Y. 2021/22)

The final exam consists of a written exam plus a take-home project.

The final exam covers the entire program of the course, including Practices and STATA lectures.

At the end of the course, students will be assigned a mock exam (10 questions in 15 minutes).  Students can earn up to 1 bonus point if they respond correctly to at least 6 out of 10 questions.  The bonus point will last for the Summer session only. The mock exam will take place using the Activity tab in Teams, therefore students will need to bring their own computer to the class where the mock exam is scheduled

Exam rules

  • The written exam covers the first four weeks of the course and the practice classes. The exam will take place using the Activity tab in Teams, therefore students will need to bring their own computer to the class where the written exam is scheduled. The written exam will last 45 minutes and will be a mix of multiple choices and true/false questions.

  • The take-home project will be an application on STATA. It will be posted on Teams in the “Activity” section after the written exam (in 1 or 2 hours). Students will have 24 hours to submit their projects. Following the Department rules, only projects submitted via the “Activity” section on Microsoft Teams will be accepted. Students must attach to the project the do-file they used for the analysis. Late turn-ins will not be accepted.

  • The take-home STATA project is strictly individual. We remind you that the EEBL Council has decided to increase the anti-plagiarism measures. All projects will be screened via anti-plagiarism software and non-original exams will be heavily penalized.

  • For the exam to be considered completed students have to do both the written and the project assignments.
  • Minimum passing grade: 18/30.

Students must make sure that they have access to the Team of the course AND register on Delphi. Only students registered on Delphi will have access to the material for the exam.
