Short Course in Empirical Strategies - Prof. J. Angrist (MIT)

Where: Villa Mondragone (Monte Porzio Catone, Rome). 

Restricted access: DEF MSc in Economics and PhD students, selected SOSE members.

Reserved places for MSc Economics students: 10

Who can apply? Students who are regularly enrolled in the 2020/2021 academic year may apply, as well as students who were enrolled in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Requirements: MSc Economics Econometrics and Microeconometrics exams

Application deadline: 5 May 2021

MSc Economics offers the possibility to enrolled students to attend a short course in Empirical Strategies held by Professor Joshua Angrist from MIT Economics.

Due to the specialized content of these lectures, the participants will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of economics and econometrics. To do this, candidates’ GPA for Econometrics and Microeconometrics will be taken into consideration.

Should you wish to participate in the selection, please fill out the APPLICATION FORM and send it back to the Program Office by 5 May 2021: msc_economics@economia.uniroma2.it

The top ten students will be notified by email by 10 May that they have been selected and they will be asked to confirm their participation by 15 May, keeping in mind that only a very limited number of students may participate and other students will be interested in attending in place of those who are not available on those dates.
