European Youth Week

Grass roots activities bring together young people, project participants, youth organisations and policy-makers in a European event held in Brussels at the European Parliament to celebrate and promote youth activities through events organised in all countries participating in Erasmus+ programme.

WelcomeWeeks Programme for new students 2019/2020

Welcome and orientation activities will be provided for all the new students arriving at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. International students will be supported in filling in forms for a Residence Permit, Health Insurance and Pass card for public transportation in Rome.

Paolo Leon Thesis Award

Guest lecturer for Environmental Economics course

Starting next Monday, April 8 the Department of Economics and Finance will host the visiting professor from the University of Hiedelberg, Timo Goeschl (https://www.uni-heidelberg.de/fakultaeten/wiso/awi/professuren/umwelt/goeschl_e.html), a very well-known environmental and experimental economist.

Traineeships at the European Court of Auditors

The European Court of Auditors organises three traineeship sessions per year in areas of interest to its work. Traineeships are granted for three, four or five months maximum. They may be remunerated (1350 €/month) or non-remunerated depending on the budgetary appropriations available.

PhD programme in Economics at the University of Surrey

The University of Surrey offers an attractive doctoral programme in Economics, which is composed of two stages. The first step is the MRes Economics programme lasting one year, and the PhD is the second stage, lasting three years (with the possibility of 1 year extension). Students interested in the PhD apply through the MRes and on successful completion will continue with the PhD programme.

Long term traineeships with EESC

Twice a year the European Economic and Social Committee offers traineeships for a period of five months to university graduates.

EESC European Economic and Social Committee - Short term traineeships

Unpaid traineeships for short periods (minimum one month, maximum three months) are occasionally available with no age limit for university students and recent graduates. Traineeship dates are flexible and applications are open all year long.                    

 

JRC Research Traineeships

Do you have a scientific academic background? JRC offers a stimulating, multicultural and multi-disciplinary research environment for trainees. Traineeships can be either training related to the preparation of a thesis for a university degree, or training after university education (or its equivalent) within 5 years after the last university degree.

Traineeships at the Court of Justice of the European Union
