SAATDJIAN

I am from Caracas, Venezuela, and I have a degree in International Affairs summa cum laude, from John Cabot University, Rome. In 2009, I was the recipient of the Award for Excellence in International Affairs and The Alamgir Award for Research in Developmental Economics for my senior thesis on “Economic Development of Oil Exporting Countries.” Before completing my university studies, I worked in Marketing for multinational corporations; however, my dream is to pursue a career in development. I aim at combining  my management experience and  my passion for development to take part of my own country’s current revolutionary process. While pursuing my master’s degree at University “Tor Vergata,” I will begin an internship with the Venezuelan Mission to the United Nation Agencies in Rome. I am fluent in Spanish, English and Italian, have studied Russian and French, and I am expecting a baby at the end of February 2010.
