Haitham Abdel-Fattah ABOUBEID

I am from Palestine and I hold B.A degree in Finance from Birzeit University. My interest in the development field began when I started to work as a Field Officer for five years with the "United Nations Relief & Works Agency for Palestine Refugees" at the Credit Department that aims at developing micro-enterprises through granting loans. I moved to work in the "International Committee of the Red Cross" as an Economic Security Field officer for one year, my responsibility was to insure the economic security of the targeted population who have been affected by the conflict in the Palestinian territories through executing humanitarian economic projects. Since two years I moved to work at the Palestinian "Ministry of Planning & Administrative Development" as a coordinator at the Economic Planning Department, my core duty is to coordinate the efforts to produce Development Economic Sector & National Plans. MESCI program will enhance my professional experience and deepen my understanding to the development issues that I have been encountering during my previous and current work at my developing country" Palestine".
