BROTZU

My name is Marialuisa and I come from Italy, Rome. I decided to attend the master MESCI in order to develop a more integrated approach on issues related to international cooperation and development. I have a degree in International Relations and I think this master could make me acquire, by integrating my theoretical background with an economic perspective, more focused tools and competences for understanding and working on such complex challenges. I’ve been working since many years in the humanitarian field and on international cooperation either as a volunteer or as an intern by cooperating with NGOs, public institutions and humanitarian networks at national and international level. Thanks to these experiences I had the opportunity to realise that my interest was in development and especially on the sustainability of the actions undertaken in order to make communities, and thus people, be protagonists and active agents of their own development.
