MESCI-Development Economics and International Cooperation

Master in
Development Economics and
International Cooperation

Alumni 2013/2014

My name is Carmen Del Vecchio, I am 30 and Italian. After my university studies in International Relations, I did not want to limit myself to theoretical knowledge, so I took a one year job in Congo as a humanitarian aid worker. My interest in development economics started during this amazing year, followed by other international work experiences, such as a consultant position for the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels. In this moment of my life I have decided to enrol to the Master program because I feel sure that Mesci can make me a specialist in developing economics and international cooperation. Even more, it can provide me economic, institutional and social knowledge and tools, that I would like to use in future projects for NGOs and International Organizations.
