MESCI-Development Economics and International Cooperation

Master in
Development Economics and
International Cooperation

Alumni 2014/2015

My name is Paolo d’Alessandro and I was born in Rome 26 years ago. I have a background in International Relations and International Cooperation but my dream is still to become a professional footballer. I obtained my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Rome La Sapienza. Thanks to the Erasmus Program, I’ve had the opportunity to live and study abroad, in the beautiful city of Bremen (yes the one with the four musicians) where I experienced an international and multicultural environment. Back to Rome, after several volunteering experiences, I started to be progressively involved in the Fair Trade Italian movement. I started to work in a cooperative based in Rome but member of the Italian larger Fair Trade organization “CTM Altromercato”. Last year, I also joined the Italian General Assembly of Fair Trade (AGICES) as an elected candidate for the monitoring Committee. With a particular interest in project management, I think MESCI will be the key for my human and professional growth.
