Alessia TOCCHI

Hello. My name is AlessiaTocchi and I come from Rome. I’m an economist. I graduated in economics and management cum laude at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and I’m specialized in quantitative methods for company’s management.During my life I travelled extensively, and I could personally touch poverty in the less developed countries, what it means. No comfortable home, no technology. Is this the fair and sustainable well-being? I firmly believe that “if development does not involve the whole man and every man, it is not true development”. I’m very keen on data mining and data analytics and I’m participating to the MESCI master in order to gain a solid grounding in econometrics and in the most recent theory in micro and macroeconomics. I aim to be an economic analyst, able to plan and realize relevant social and economic development projects. In the globalization era, I firmly believe that cooperation is the way that must be travelled in order to achieve an important goal: fair and sustainable well-being. It is the issue that mostly stir up my passion and which I would like to work on.
