My name is Anna Rita Costrini and I am from a small and beautiful village in Abruzzo, Pescasseroli. I moved to Rome to attend Universitity and I have been living in the capital for many years. I have a master degree in “Literature. Italian and European Studies” from Rome University, La Sapienza. My humanities studies helped me develop a critical awareness of current events, teaching me to observe them from a broader, more interdisciplinary standpoint, so as to understand the complexity of any matter- be it political, sociological, or economic. During my last years at university, I became interested in studying the social costs of globalization, such as the unfair distribution of wealth, in both developing and developed countries. I am applying to MESCI to acquire the professional skills, such as statistical analysis, relevant to the area in which I would like to work, the international cooperation. Moreover, it would be a great chance to share views on development issues with students from other countries. Let’s go…
