Is professor of Monetary Economics, Department of Economics & Finance of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. From July 2007 to October 2011 he was Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata
In the previous years he was Director of the Department of Economics and Institutions of the same University and Coordinator of the Master of European Economy Finance and Institutions,. and of the Phd program in Money and Finance
HE HAS BEEN VISITING PROFESSORS IN MANY LATIN AMERICA AND USA UNIVERSITIES. MORE RECENTLY,I IN 2008- 2009-2010 WAS Visiting Professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá (CO), IN 2008 AT The Chinese University of Hong Kong, AT The University of Hong Kong, AT TONGJI UNIVERSITY SHANGHAI, AT PEKING UNIVERSITY, AT SEOUL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY, KOREA, IN 2005 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Albany (New York)
He has been Advisor for the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and for banks, private and for National and International Institutions.
He has published many books and papers in scientific journals in the fields of International Macroeconomics Finance and Monetary Economics, Industrial Economics, and Cultural Economics
