Ettore Dorrucci
Has since 1998 been working with the ECB, where he heads the Convergence and Competitiveness Division in DG Economics. Previously he was in Banca d’Italia and the private sector. He has been in charge of a wide range of issues related to international economics and European integration, both from an analytical and from a policy perspective. He is Deputy Chairman of the Competitiveness and Research Network (CompNet). He was ECB mission chief in Ireland in the period 2013-16, and a member of several working groups of the G20, the IMF, the BIS, the OECD and the Eurosystem. He was member of the Editorial Board of the ECB Working Papers Series and has several publications on the international monetary system, economic convergence, regional integration, competitiveness and development economics.
