Is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” where she teaches Macroeconomics, Economic Growth and Economics of European Integration. She previously taught at the School of Economics, Finance and Management of the University of Bristol.
She received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Rome and her Master degree in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of  Geneva. She completed her  Ph.D. in Economics at  the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
Her research interests include economic growth, economic policy analysis, numerical methods, environmental macroeconomics and business cycle.She is a member of the council of experts of the Italian Ministry of Economics and Finance. She served as advisor  to the Fiscal Policy Division of the European Central Bank.
