Piero Esposito

Researcher at the School of European Political Economy since September 2014. He has a Ph.D in economics from Sapienza University of Rome (2008) and a Master in Applied Econometrics from the School of Economics and Finance of the Ministry of Economics (2010). Between 2011 and 2014, he was a post-doctoral researcher at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, and researcher at Centro Europa Ricerche (CER) in Rome. Between 2009 and 2010, he was post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Economic Studies and Analyses (ISAE, now merged with ISTAT). His research focuses mainly on European economic integration, competitiveness, international trade, and applied econometrics. He wrote several articles on macroeconomic imbalances in Europe, East West Integration, and measurement of competitiveness.
