Andrea Raffo

Chief of the Global Modeling Studies Section in the International Finance Division of Federal Reserve Board. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Board, he was an Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City between 2005 and 2007 and a dissertation intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in 2004.  Heheld a position of Adjunct Professor of Economics at Johns Hopkins University in 2013.
Dr. Rafforeceived aLaureaDegree (B. A.) in Economics from Bocconi University in 1999, anM. A. in Economics from Bocconi University in 2000, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2005.His research interests include the short- and long-run effects of structural reforms, the analysis of labor market trends and fluctuations in O.E.C.D.economies, and the transmission of business cycles across countries.
