Paolo Reboani
51, since 2010 Chairman and Managing Officer of Italia Lavoro, the agency of Ministry of Labour for the implementation of labour market policies, is an economist and industrial relations expert. Graduated in economics at the University of Rome in 1989, he pursued his studies at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, particularly in industrial relations, economics and government. He has been director of labour department at ISAE (economic research centre). He acted as economic adviser in Italian government (1992-1997); he has been chief of staff at the Minister of Labour and Social policies (2002-2006; 2008-2011) and at the Minister for Trade and European Policies (2006-2008). In this role, he represented Italy at the EU, OECD, ILO, becoming Vice Chairman of the European Employment Committee.
He has published some essays on national and international journals and he is participating to international research projects on labour market, industrial relations systems, and industrial policies.
