The Department of Economics and Finance (DEF) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata invites expressions of interest for Senior (Tenure-Track) Assistant Professorships in the following areas:

·         Economic Theory/Game Theory

·         Macroeconomics/Monetary Economics

·         Econometrics (Microeconometrics and Statistical Methods for High Dimensional Data)

·         Applied Economics (Labor Economics, Health Economics, Development Economics, Economic History)

·         Industrial Organization

The position is for three years, but subject to evaluation, it might be converted in a tenured Associate Professorship. Applicants for this position must have at least three years of experience after PhD graduation, and an already established research record.

Salary, research account and teaching load are competitive with leading academic institutions abroad. Knowledge of Italian is not required.

Our Department is devoted to promote high-quality research, seminars and conference activities, with the aim of contributing to the national and international policy debate.
