The Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research Systems (ANVUR) has released the results of the Evaluation of the Quality of Research (VQR) for the term 2011-2014.

“Tor Vergata” has confirmed its high standard of research, already underlined in the past evaluation 2004-2010, with Mathematics, Economics, Building Engineering-Architecture, Chemistry and Physics at the top of the rankings by area.

In particular, with respect to the indicator R (the ratio between the average vote of department in the area and the average vote of the area), the Department of Economics and Finance was ranked first out of the 7 Large departments, and 22th out of 186 in the overall ranking;
