The Department of Economics and Finance (DEF) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata invites expressions of interest for two full time fixed-term assistant professors in all areas of Economics and Finance (including Statistics and Financial Mathematics):

The positions are for three years starting in 2020, renewable for three additional years.
Teaching is optional, and in any case at the graduate level. Knowledge of Italian is not required.

Our Department is devoted to promote high-quality research, seminars and conference activities, with the aim of contributing to the national and international policy debate. RePEc and Tilburg University rank our Department among the top 5 institutions in Italy, and the top 100 in Europe. The Department has been recently financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Research under the program “Departments of Excellence” for 2018-2022. Applications should be received by November 24th 2019. They should include the CV, a research statement, one (or more) research paper(s) and at least 3 reference letters and should be uploaded on the EconJobMarket website, https://econjobmarket.org/

The DEF will schedule interviews at the European Job Market (Rotterdam, December 18th and 19th 2019). Candidates who do not plan to attend the EJM shall mention it in their cover letter, and a selected group may be interviewed on Skype.
