The Meet the Practitioners starts this year with an engaging session featuring Silvio Daidone, Economist and Evaluation Officer at FAO.
In his presentation, Designing Impact Evaluations of Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Projects, Dr. Daidone will delve into the strategies used to evaluate projects funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF)—the world’s largest dedicated fund for climate action.
Drawing on his experience leading impact evaluations of humanitarian and climate-related interventions, he will present lessons learned, discuss the design of rigorous methodologies, and highlight challenges encountered during the inception phase of several GCF-funded projects.
