On April 10 at 10:00 AM, the Open Day of the Master of Science in Economics (LM-56) took place in Room TL, Building A at the School of Economics. The event brought together prospective students, faculty members, alumni, and current students, both in person and online, for an inspiring and informative morning.

The session opened with a presentation of the program, where participants were introduced to the structure and content of this two-year, full-time Master’s degree. Faculty members highlighted how the program equips students with strong theoretical foundations and advanced quantitative tools, preparing them for careers in the private sector, public institutions, or academia.

One of the most engaging moments of the event was the Alumni Talks. Former students, Federico Marciano and Andrea Renzetti, shared their personal journeys, offering insights into how the program helped them shape successful professional paths. Their stories resonated deeply with the audience, providing a glimpse into the real-world impact of the skills gained during the program.

Following the talks, attendees enjoyed a Coffee Break & Networking session, where they had the opportunity to speak informally with professors, alumni, and peers. This part of the event was especially appreciated by those on campus, as it allowed for meaningful connections and exchanges in a relaxed atmosphere.

The event was also accessible via Microsoft Teams, allowing a wide range of participants to join remotely. Registration was managed via email, where attendees indicated their preference for online or in-person participation.

The Open Day successfully offered a comprehensive look at the Master’s program and created a welcoming space for discussion, curiosity, and community. It was a pleasure to welcome all those interested in taking the next step in their academic journey in Economics, Data Science, or Quantitative Economics.
