MALAGA - Universidad de Málaga (SPAIN)

4 students x 5 months;

2 students x 5 months only for the Faculty of Social Studies and Work;
Language requirements: Spanish B1* or English B1

Application deadlines: I semester: June, 30 - II semester: November, 30

*Level of Spanish:

The main language of instruction at the UMA is Spanish. We recommend incoming students have at least a B1, preferably B2, in Spanish. No official certificate is required, but we kindly ask partner universities to nominate students with a sufficient level of Spanish.

*courses in English: There are some courses offered in English, but highly demanded. Besides, there is a limit of exchange students per course. UMA offers a limited number of English-taught courses and the availability varies considerably across faculties: some faculties offer a wide range of subjects in English, while others offer very few or none. Enrollment cannot be guaranteed. Completion of a Learning Agreement exclusively with English-taught courses may not be feasible.

*IMPORTANT: for the academic year 26-27, courses taught in English at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Marketing are restricted to students of each respective faculty. Therefore, Marketing students cannot select English-taught courses from the Faculty of Economics, and vice versa.

** The agreement is signed with the Faculty of Economics and students will have to select a 50% minimum of courses from Economics. The other 50% can be selected in any other Faculty.

Pay attention: students will be contacted directly from the University of Malaga that will be provided with credentials to log in the website and complete the application form.

*Please notice that our Erasmus and Latin American students are obliged to choose a 50% of subjects in the Field of Study agreed in the Inter-Institutional Agreement. The main faculty will not be modified after the nomination deadline. UMA only accepts Erasmus students from Field of Studies stipulated in the Erasmus Agreement. Postgraduate students (Masters and Doctorates) will be ONLY accepted if this option is included in the Bilateral Agreement.
