Exam Rules for Organisational Psychology Course:

Attending students (at least 70% of lessons)

• The students are expected to work in a team​
• The team should ideally have 3-5 members​
• Each group has to select a different topic within this AY program (see Program page) there have to be no groups on the same topic
• As a group, you have to produce a powerpoint lesson ans a short essay (if needed)  to be shared​
• The essay will be structured by: an introduction to the theory and the purpose of the group work and a description of the topi
• The essay has to be submitted within the deadline. Each student is expected to write at least 1.000 words.
• The essay will integrate the slide and have bibliographical references (or web, or video)​
• The final (written) exam will be a multiple choice test. The final grade will include engagement in the class (10%), lesson delivery (50%) and final exam mark (40%).
  

Each team member will also give their feedback on the group work and on the course

Non-attending students

• Before the exam date: they will present a case study individually to be sent to Professor's email address one week before the exam (at least 8000 - 12000 characters, including spaces) together with the PPT of the presentation. The case will be about one of the topics (preferably agreed in advance) listed in current AY program and it will be an analysis of a best practice and of an unsuccessful application in the field of Organisational Psychology.  The analysis of the 2 cases is the key part of the essay. Comparison of the two cases will be necessary for a good evaluation of the work. Agreement on the subject with the Professor is preferable. ​
• It is expected a document between 2000 and 3000 words of length with a general theoretical framework of the subject, the presentation of the two cases, the comparison and the conclusions. ​
• During the exam: they will be asked to answer questions on 3 different program topics - the recommended textbook is a reference, but they have to refer essentially to 2021-2022 AY course material. As a further reference they may consider: The Psychology of Behaviour at Work: The Individual in the Organization Paperback – by Adrian Furnham.
