Born in 1991, the Economic Area “Vilfredo Pareto” Library, located at the ground floor - “Ricerca” building of the Faculty of Economics, extends for about 1,600 square meters, 1,100 of which are dedicated to consultation, and it is equipped with a total amount of 370 seats.
The Library is specialised in the traditional disciplines of the Faculty: Economics, Management, Law, Statistics and Mathematics.
Its patrimony is constituted of more than 33,000 monographs, 2,200 newspapers' mastheads (1,900 of which are current); more than 2,200 online journals, about 800 titles related to statistical sources and documentation; numerous working papers of Italian and foreign Universities; a series of databases on DVD/CD-ROM or available online.
All the library materials are organized in an open-shelf way, which is directly available for the user.
The capital management is assigned to the Scientific Board of the Library.
