MISSION/VISIONE
The Department of Management and Law (DMD) established in 2015 is a research, education and development center in business, law and economics specializing in management (business economics, accounting, budget analysis, management, marketing, business organization, economics of financial intermediaries), law (administrative, private, public, commercial, labor, banking and tax law) and economic and political geography (economics and territorial planning).
On July 16th, 2024, the Department Council approved the Department of Management and Law’s proposal for a three-year plan (2024-2026) pursuant to the strategic and operational goals of the University’s Strategic Plan (2024-2026).
Mission
The Department’s mission is the growth, training, empowerment of people, sustainability, and the innovation of businesses, public administrations and non-profit organizations focusing on accountability, justice, efficiency, sustainability, innovation, and digitalization.
Vision
The DMD aspires to create an environment conducive to the growth, transfer, and enhancement of knowledge contributes to the creation of an increasingly responsible, sustainable, just, and inclusive society.
The academic staff supports national and international high-quality research and the Department invests in faculty recruitment, both in terms of career progression and new resources. Moreover, it enhances and supports the professional growth of the administrative staff and encourages dialogue with the territory and the community. A verification of the quality of the Department’s actions and their subsequent results is fostered by continuous discussion with businesses, public administrations, and other qualified stakeholders, through public engagement activities.
