Emma Bonino to address opening year speech

emma-boninoPolitician Emma Bonino, member of the Italian parlament who most recently served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and previously a member of the European Parliament and a member of the Italian Senate, will visit University of Rome Tor Vergata, Faculty of Economics to address students of Global Governance with an Academic Year opening speech on "How To Respond to the Global Challange of Refugee Migration".

Mrs Bonino has fought numerous battles for civil rights and individual liberty, mainly concerned with divorce, the legalisation of abortion, the legalisation of drugs, and for sexual and religious freedoms. She has fought for an end to capital punishment, against female genital mutilation, and the eradication of world hunger.

Mrs Bonino's speech will start at 11am in Aula Magna of Faculty of Economics.
