UIIP is a world-class Programme designed to recruit talent from the best european universities

The Unilever International Internship programme (UIIP) is a 6-month internship, where you will be based at one of the following European hubs:

  • Europe Headquarters, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
  • Global Headquarters, based in London, UK
  • European Supply Chain Company-based in Schaffhausen, Swizerland
  • R&D European hubs in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands or Port Sunlight, UK

Learn by experience

You will learn with real responsibilities and real insight from the business. You will work on real challenges and business cases for our leading iconic brands, like Dove, Knorr, Magnum, Hellmann's, Lipton, TRESemme...to make sustainable living common place.

Within the different functions (like Marketing, Finance, HR, R&D or Supply Chain) it's about working closely with and learning from our Senior Managers. You will be asked to work on a challenging assignment and get to acquire the project management skills to deliver it. You will have the opportunity to work with iconic brands and you will play a role in moving our innovations from concept idea to full scale production, depending on the business area you work in. You may also get the chance to work with external partners or teams from other business areas at a European or global level.

Learn through people

During your internship you will learn from a Mentor, Buddy and your intern network:

  • The Mentor is one of our Trainees (UFLP) or an experienced Manager, who will guide your development.
  • The Buddy will be another Intern or Assistant Manager, to help you in the day to day job and life at Unilever.

Formal learning

You will set key business priorities and development areas for the Internship together with your Manager. You will have a mid Internship review moment and end Internship review moment with your Manager and Mentor. Project management is one of the most critical skills. During the Internship you will demonstrate your skills through a real project and develop those skills with a training session.

When

Start dates in March and September.

Requirements

You need to be in your penultimate/final year of have graduated within the last 6 months, and speak fluent English. Your must have a minimum of 4 months international work experience.
