Luigi Cajani has taught Early Modern History at the Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia of the Sapienza University of Rome.
He is currently Associated Scholar of the Georg-Eckert-Institut für international Schulbuchforschung in Braunschweig (Germany) and president of the International Research Association for History and Social Sciences Education (IRAHSSE).
Research interests: History of Crime and Criminal Justice in Italy during the Ancien Régime; German-Italian relations during World War II; History of historiography; History education.
