Valeria Cardellini is associate professor of computer science at the Department of Civil Engineering and Computer Science, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy.
Her main research interests focus on the design, engineering, and performance evaluation of distributed computing systems and applications.
She has published more than 80 referred papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
Three of these publications have received paper awards.
She received the doctorate degree in Computer Science from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2001
for her work on scalable Web-server systems.
