Neironi Raimondo

University of Rome Tor Vergata

Raimondo Neironi is Lecturer in Europe in the Global World (module A) at the University of Rome, Tor Vergata. He received his PhD in Institutions and Politics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Milan) in 2019, with specialisation in international history of contemporary South-East Asia. Prior to his appointment at Tor Vergata, he taught at Catholic University, University of Turin, Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna and Ca' Foscari University of Venice.

Since early 2019, Raimondo has been working as a Research Fellow for *T.wai - Torino World Affairs Institute <https://www.twai.it/author/raimondo-neironi/>*, producing a wide range of research articles on East (Japan) and South-East Asia (Philippines, primarily), as well as Australia.

His main areas of interest include Cold War history, foreign policy and cultural diplomacy, with a strong focus on Philippines, Japan and Australia. He aims at turning into a book your doctoral thesis concerning the origins and evolution of a regional co-operation in South-East Asia between the late 1950s and 1967.
