Pecchi Lorenzo

Lorenzo Pecchi has lectured in finance and monetary economics at the Faculty of Economics of the University of  Rome Tor Vergata and La Sapienza. He was an economics professor at the University Carlos III of Madrid in 1991-92.
Over the past 25 years he acquired a significant experience in the financial industry and in the public sector at the Department of theTreasury.He held various positions of responsability at major financial institutions. In this capacity he was involved in a large number of transactions for financial institutions and corporations. At the Department of the Treasury, as a member of the Council of Experts, he was involved in public debt management and in the privatization plan.
His fields of expertise are financial economics, public debt management, political philosophy and defense economics .
He has edited with Gustavo Piga the books Revisiting Keynes: Economic Possibilities for our Granchildren, MIT Press and Managing Public Debt: Inflation-Linked Bonds in Theory, and Practice, Edward Elgar. He authored a book on John Rawls for the LUISS University Press and several articles in academic journals.
He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from U.C.L.A.
