Procedure for course exemptions

  1. Send a detailed request to the Program's Office. This request should include the syllabus, grade, and exam details of the course you successfully finished during your prior academic endeavors. Please include a line summarizing the motivation. The submission deadline for this information is September 10.
  2. The final decision will be made by both the PhD Director and the Faculty. They will also consider the opinion of the relevant lecturer before communicating the decision to the student.
  3. Once exemptions are approved, students should devise by September 15 to the Program's Office a plan of study that incorporates all mandatory and elective courses. This plan must comprise a minimum of 240 hours of coursework. Students may add courses from the RED program, Visiting Professors, or second-year courses.
