Camaiti Hostert Anna
Anna Camaiti Hostert lives and works between Italy and the United States. She is a philosopher, and in the field of Anglo-American Cultural Studies, her research focuses on Visual Studies. She has taught in US and Italian universities. She has published several books, among which: Passing, Sentire il Cinema, Metix, Trump non e’ una fiction; the collection of short stories La vita nelle cose and last Trump e moschetto which has been translated into Enlish under the title Trump and Mussolini. She has also edited with A. J. Tamburri, the collection of cinematographic essays Screening Ethnicity. Co-founder of the magazine of Cultural and Aesthetic Studies «Ágalma» with the late philosopher Mario Perniola, she was the author of the TV program Metix for Raisat. As a journalist she is the co-founder and the columnist of the online magazine Succedeoggi .
Coming from Tuscany is her first novel published in English
