RAHMAN Zunairah
My name is Zunairah Rahman, and I am a Bangladeshi student who grew up and studied in Kuwait. Living in a multicultural environment has been a defining part of who I am. Being surrounded by people from different countries, cultures, and perspectives made me naturally open-minded and curious about the world from a young age. It taught me how to listen, adapt, and appreciate differences that continue to shape both my personality and my interests today.
Academically, I come from a science background, which has helped me develop a logical and structured way of thinking. I enjoy understanding how things work and breaking down complex ideas into simpler parts. At the same time, I have found myself increasingly drawn toward subjects beyond pure science, especially those that explore human behavior, societies, and decision-making. This curiosity has gradually led me toward areas like economics and global issues, where I can connect analytical thinking with real world impact.
Outside of academics, one of my favorite things to do is read. Reading has always been more than just a hobby for me—it is how I explore new perspectives, understand different cultures, and reflect on ideas beyond my immediate surroundings. Whether it is fiction that allows me to step into someone else’s world or non-fiction that helps me better understand global systems, reading has played a major role in shaping how I think and express myself.
I also value personal growth and self-awareness. Moving between different environments has made me adaptable and resilient, and I am always looking for ways to improve myself; whether through learning new concepts, engaging in thoughtful conversations, or simply reflecting on my experiences.
I see myself as someone who is still exploring and evolving, but with a clear sense of curiosity and purpose. I am particularly interested in understanding how different systems; economic, social, and political interact on a global scale, and how individuals can contribute meaningfully within those systems.
Overall, I am someone who enjoys learning, values diverse perspectives, and is motivated to grow both intellectually and personally. I look forward to being part of an environment where I can continue to learn from others while also contributing my own ideas and experiences.
