Hi everyone! I’m Emily, born and raised in Rome with proud Irish roots, my dad is from Dublin. My academic foundation is in classical studies, which fueled a lifelong passion for literature, writing and, more recently, journalism, geopolitics and international relations. I like to write in my spare time, both important things and not.
I love good debates, but mostly i like learning things I don’t know, i have always been very curious. I’m also passionate about sport. Outside the classroom, I am still a dedicated distance runner and was a national-level track athlete. Nine years on the track have taught me the power of discipline, resilience, and hard work, qualities that keep me balanced both in life and academics.
I’m thrilled and deeply grateful to join the Global Governance class this year.
