I am Aizhamal Medetbekova, 20 years old, born in Chayek — a small village in Kyrgyzstan's mountainous region. Growing up with my grandparents gave me a strong sense of family and deep love for my culture and traditions.

I connect with people easily. Friends describe me as positive, energetic and confident, while my closest ones call me sensitive, empathetic and a bit goofy. Leading two projects in student organizations also shaped me into someone initiative, responsible and reliable.

Beyond academics, I play piano, read fiction, watch anime and, lately, enjoy hiking.

I chose Global Governance after witnessing issues like women's rights violations and unequal access to education in remote areas, hoping to gain the knowledge to address them — and simply experience life fully.
