Andrea Piano Mortari is Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. His research focuses on health economics, dynamic microsimulation, and the exposome. He leads or co-leads work packages in EU-funded projects including STAGE, Obelisk, and LongITools, and is Principal Investigator of a NIH-funded pilot on Alzheimer’s disease. His work addresses chronic disease prevention, healthcare productivity, and mental health, with publications in peer-reviewed journals. He serves on the Project Council of DECIDEHealth and teaches Microeconomics and Research Methods for Social Sciences at the undergraduate level.
