Teaching methods

Teaching Methods:
The course emphasizes active participation through group discussions, workshops, exercises, and games. Students are given the responsibility to select topics, design lessons, and teach them to their peers, promoting hands-on learning and peer collaboration.
Class Structure:
The course begins with self-introductions, focusing on students' backgrounds and personalities. It is explained that the course will be andragogy-based, where students choose and present topics. Grading is split into 50% for lesson delivery, 10% for behavior and interaction, and 40% for the final exam.
Kolb Test:
Students take the Kolb learning style test to understand their learning preferences, integrating the results into both their presentations and written essays.
Lesson Delivery:
Students are tasked with forming diverse, international teams to prepare and deliver lessons on chosen topics, which include personality differences, team alignment, motivation, communication, and group problem-solving. Each lesson is expected to last around 60 minutes, be interactive, and involve active engagement. After each lesson, students receive feedback on learning outcomes, content quality, and engagement.
Feedback and Evaluation:
The professor reviews lesson plans before the scheduled presentation date, offering feedback to ensure clarity and direction. During students delivered lessons, the professor observes from the back, and students provide feedback post-lesson, identifying learning outcomes, strengths, and areas for improvement.
