Office hours: to be agreed by email.   Luigina Sgarro is Professor of Organisational Psychology at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’, Teacher at SNA, psychologist and Management Consultant.  She studied in Rome La Sapeinza, APC, MRI and has a wide experience as an Organisational Psychologist. PROGRAM OVERVIEW: The course will be practical and engaging and will allow students to have a first-hand experience of the basics for understanding personality, the relationship with themselves and with others, the principles of effective relationship and for the achievement of individual and organizational well-being. 

The program foresees to outline models to understand people's actions in organizations in the framework of human psychology. In this perspective, there will be contents related to influence and communication, personnel selection, managing diversity, etc. A quick overview will also be given about neuroscience.

In order to take the exam as a student, it is necessary to attend at least 70% of the lessons. The first 4 lessons are of fundamental importance to understand how the course works and to appreciate its advantages.

PRE-REQUISITES FOR THE COURSE: none

LEARNING OBJECTIVE: Knowledge and awareness of the basic tools to understand themselves and the other in the work environment with a practical approach and a specific focus on the Psychology of organisation and its most recent evolutions.
