Exam Q&A
Q1. I have a question regarding the grading of the exam. How much time do we have for the examination and will it be written on paper or on the laptop?
A1 You will have 90’ + some time for the explanation
Q2 I would also like to know how the presentation, engagement in class and written exam are calculated together. Do we get three separate grades and the points will be weighted for our final exam or will the points of the 3 parts be just added up?
A2 Everything is explained in the page of the exam rules:
https://economia.uniroma2.it/corso/asset/1012/?ida=25346&c=0b311
Q3 Do we need to sign up somewhere specific (in International Marketing we needed to register on a platform)?
A3 You have to register for the exam, that’s all-
Q4 What kind of open questions will be on the exam? Purely theoretical questions related to the presentations or reflective questions?
A4 Reflective questions
Q5 Is the exam written on a paper or online on our computer?
A5 Written on paper.
Where to eat in Rome - By Luca
WHAT TO EAT IN ROMA
I’m a bit jealous of these places because some of them are really personal so I kindly ask you to don’t compare them to the tourists’ attracting ones you usually go to, this is in fact more or less just real roman tradition.
RESTAURANTS:
Osteria Bonelli is in Centocelle, not that far from university, they provide you with a blackboard from where you can read the menu, I would suggest trying pasta, as well as fried filetto di baccalà.
Trecca is in Garbatella, so a bit more in the city centre, I would suggest trying some dishes that are not for everyone, padellino di regaje di pollo as well as coda alla vaccinara, otherwise the other dishes are still very good.
PIZZA TONDA:
180grammi is in Centocelle, the pizza is the classic romana, so really thin and cruncy, be careful, it’s a bit difficult to book a table.
Extremis is in Pietralata, the pizza is a bit more on the contemporanea side, meaning that the crust is bigger, and the toppings are not that classic.
PIZZA AL TAGLIO:
Io e Valter really close to university, it’s one of my favourites, I used to go to my highschool nearby, it reminds me of my teenage, but trust me, one of the best type of pizza you’ll try, please, don’t go away without taking a bite of “ripiena con insalata di pollo”.
Gianni al mattone is in Primavalle, an old small man is over there working alone, but he still manages to do something amazing, try the one with granchio, but remember, you can go there only in the morning, if at 1 p.m. he has finished what he was supposed to sell, he close the place and leave.
Pantera is in Ostiense, they serve a really good super thing and flavorful pizza, don’t have to say anything more.
Trapizzino it’s not properly pizza, but instead a “pizzaish” triangle filled with juicy Italian dishes and souces, it’s more over a take and go place.
DESSERT:
Otaleg nearby Piazza Trilussa, simply the best gelato you can have in Roma, it’s all natural, zero chemical and shitty stuff.
Two sizes since you asked for tiramisù, and you can’t eat the best (my mum’s one), that’s the easiest way to try a decent one, different flavours but go for the classic, thanks. By the way, based near Piazza Navona.
Panificio Bonci everything good one of the best pizzas, as well as one of the better maritozzi in Roma.
Forno Regoli here you’re obliged to take the maritozzo as well as crostatina con le fragole, a 17-euro hard crust pie with small strawberries that tastes just like heaven.
Be careful in looking on Google for opening and closing hours, and feel free to ask for any kind of additional informations.

Finally, again in relation to the exam, if you have not attended or have not reached the minimum attendance required, even though the check will be after the exam, I suggest that you present yourself directly at the next valid roll call, on 14 January, as this roll call is reserved for those attending.
Gift of greetings
Here are the instructions for your letter, which I remind you is optional, which you can send to me by 1 December this year:
Imagine that it is two years from now. Everything in your life has worked out well, and the problems you are currently facing have been successfully resolved. Everything is great. Your dreams have come true, and you are enjoying your life. Write yourself a letter from the ‘future you’ to the ‘you of today,’ explaining:
1. How you've got to where you are
2. The exact steps you took
3. How you overcame roadblocks
4. Make it a cheery letter, giving yourself encouragement and praise for how you dealt with the problem or attained your goal.
Thank you for being with me on this journey.
