Heyyy! My name is Winifred, I am 20 years old and I come from Nigeria, a very diverse nation. I’d describe myself as a very spontaneous person. I have several interests and don’t want any of them left unexplored! As I prepare to begin this journey in a completely new environment and culture, I’ve been thinking about what it means to be prepared.
I could prepare as much as possible academically, but preparedness has two sides: what you think you’ve prepared for, and the other side is how that preparation translates in the world before you. And that’s when I realized that true growth, learning and preparation come largely from allowing room for curiosity. So, am I prepared? Yes.
But I’ll give room for curiosity, uncertainty and learning—and let nature’s harmony do its thing!
